Tailcone and fuselage mated

Today we reached another milestone in the aircraft fabrication process. After finishing up the tailcone assembly, we mated it to the fuselage section and it went very well. It takes up most of the lenght of the garage now and is a little harder to walk around.

This shows Thereasa filling holes in rivets on the tailcone.

This shows how the front and back are joined. First, the bottom is joined with clecos (temporary fasteners), then the back is lifted to bring everything in line and all the holes line up.

Every hole lined up and ready to be riveted
