Row, row, row your boat

This afternoon we took a ride out to Rainbow Springs State Park, near Dunnellon, FL about 45 miles north of the campground. We rented a canoe for an hour and enjoyed that. The park itself is very beautiful, with man made waterfalls and lots of flowers. We read on one of the signs in the park that there are more than 700 springs in Florida. The water is crystal clear and always about 72 degrees. I think the next time we'll be sure to bring our bathing suits.

beautiful pictures. looks like a very nice spot! don't be jealous, but we'll be having windchills of 30 below zero this week. come by for a visit if you're looking to escape the heat!
