Today we went for a ride to Honeymoon Island. This is about an hour ride from our campground in Brooksville. The weather was ideal for the ride as well as the beach. For you folks in the frozen north, you may understand why Carolyn wants me to rename this blog "rubitin" instead of "the RV lifestyle". Sorry about that, I just can't resist. The island is a little bit north of St. Petersburg/Clearwater.
We parked our motorcycle in front of the sign for the State Park.
Someone volunteered to take our picture on the beach.
I was trying to catch the wave action on the rocks. The water would spout up quite a bit, except when we went back for our camera, the waves died down.
