We did some exploring in downtown Charleston for a photoshoot background when our photographer and the rest of the family comes down to Charleston for Christmas. These pictures were all taken at Waterfront Park which is near a very picturesque bridge.

There are some nice fountains in the park. If we decide to take some pictures here we may have some trouble keeping the grand kids out of the water. The temperature will be our saving factor, I hope. The sign next to the fountain does allow wading in the water.

This shows the bridge across the Cooper river. One other reason we were there is a scheduled fly-by of 13 C-17 airplanes from Charleston Air Force Base. The next picture shows some of them. They are not the Air Force Thunderbirds and their idea of formation flight is a long trailing formation. As Jim pointed out that when you have people jumping out of the back of them, you don't want them any closer together. However, I never saw anybody jumping out.
