RV-12 Fuselage construction

Today I did some work on the RV-12 fuselage. This first picture shows having to temporarily cleco (temp. fastener) the side skin in place and then drilling a skin stiffener in a 5/16 in. thick aluminum part. Then take it all apart and rivet it together. The second picture just shows both side skins temporarily in place, it also shows the parts upside down on the work bench. The silver looking parts that hold the 2 blue side skins apart are where the wings attach to the fuselage. The last picture shows me dimpling the baggage floor panels. All in all a productive day, but I'm feeling my age. With just 1 week left until we return to JAARS, I better get used to it.
