Fitting the cowling
Working hard on getting this airplane ready to fly. Just kidding, still waiting on the avionics and engine kits to become available. The canopy is bolted to the frame and needs some fibreglass work done to the leading edge and hinge area. We had to mailorder some fibreglass cloth and Thereasa has been busy cutting the pieces to make a layup. I've been working on the fuel tank and now on the cowling. Below are a couple of picture of the progress. I don't want to put it on the landing gear yet, it'll make it harder to work on, because there is not enough room below the garage door to have the canopy open and if I turn it around the vertical stabilizer and rudder will not clear the garage door.
