Waiting on weather

We are waiting on weather at Lake Guntersville State Park near Guntersville, Alabama. We brought the airplane to Guntersville on April 3, then went back to Florida to pick up our motorhome. We have been camping at the state park waiting for the weather to be good enough to take the airplane home, with Jake flying and Thereasa driving, then drive back to Alabama to pick up the motorhome. I know, it's very complicated and we'll probably not take the airplane south next winter. Here are some pictures of our "hardships".

Our motorhome parked with a view of the lake

We have seen some beautiful sunsets from the front window of the motorhome

The dogwoods are in full bloom

This is a wisteria vine and smells nice, also found in the campground

A fishing tournament was held at the State Park for 3 days. Fishers of Men is a Christian organization and 143 boats participated. The biggest bass caught was almost 10 lbs.

At 6 am, the boats are gathered to launch and then come back at 3 pm for the weigh-in

Once the fish are weighed, they are released back in the lake

My brother Sam and wife Nancine gave us a ride on the lake to go out for lunch

Plenty of sun and mild temperatures
