We moved from Florida back to JAARS in Waxhaw, NC last Monday. We made the trip in one day, since we did not want to stop in a Walmart parking lot because of the cold weather. It has been a strange cold winter so far, even in Florida. We also found no daffodils blooming yet, which is unusual for this time of year, due to cold weather.
This was the weather here in the campground at JAARS this morning.
This is the airplane I'm working on now. We are doing an annual inspection on this Helio Courier. It belongs to a customer, who had it completely rebuilt by JAARS a few years ago. It is painted in military colors and reminds me of the airplanes I flew in Vietnam.
The entire interior is removed for the inspection.
