First ride in an RV-12

On January 17, we went to the Light Sport Aircraft Expo at Sebring, FL. We forgot our camera, but someone we know from JAARS was there and took some pictures, which we just received. (just an explanation for why this entry is a little late). We had a fun time at the show, looking at all the different LSA aircraft now available. We also talked to Jan Eggenfellner (the manufacturer of the Subaru engine package in our RV-9A) who now has a Honda engine package available for LSA aircraft. The Honda engine is a Honda Fit engine and produces 117 HP and should be a good alternative to the widely used Rotax engine.
Van's Aircraft East coast representative Mitch Lock was there with the blue factory RV-12 and I managed to get a ride in it. It was very impressive and I can't wait to get our own RV-12 finished and start flying it.
