Yesterday I took Carolyn for a flight to Linden, MI. We flew at 5500 feet on the way out and 6500 feet on the way back. This is a picture of Carolyn's neighborhood from a mile up.

The canopy is ready to be bolted on, just waiting for the paint on the frame to cure a little bit.

The instrument panel ready for the avionics kit. This also shows my stick grips from the aviation department at Walmart. The kit instructions tell you to go to a bike shop and purchase handlebar grips.

This shows the pins that hold the wings in place. The wiring is for a sensor that tells whether the pins are properly installed, something that is kinda important.

This aircraft comes with manually operated flaps, ala a Piper Cherokee.
