Appelflappen fest

John and Alida Zantingh have joined us in Brooksville with their camper and we decided to have an appelflappen fest today. The Dutch delicacy is made by taking cut up apples, dipping them in batter and deep frying them. This is usually done as a New Year's Eve custom, but they are really too good to save them for one day a year. Thereasa made them at our motorhome and then we got together at Diny and Wayne's trailer.
